What we help with
Common reasons people come to see us
Every therapist here works differently, and all of them start from the same place: you set the pace and you choose what we talk about.
Anxiety
Worry that will not switch off, panic, avoidance, and the physical side of anxiety that keeps you awake.
Depression
Low mood, exhaustion, loss of interest, and the flat weeks that stretch into months.
Trauma and PTSD
Past experiences that still shape how you sleep, react, trust and feel in your own body.
Stress management
Work pressure, burnout, caregiving load, and the point where coping stops working.
Relationships
Communication that keeps breaking down, recurring conflict, separation, and family strain.
Grief and loss
Bereavement, anticipatory grief, and losses that other people expect you to be over by now.
Psychology-only benefits? You may still be covered
Some workplace plans cover psychology but not psychotherapy, which leaves a lot of people assuming they have none. Our therapists are Registered Psychotherapists, and the practice is supervised by a Psychologist. For many plans, that supervision is what makes sessions claimable.
It is worth ten minutes on the phone with your provider before you rule therapy out.
- Direct answers about what your plan is likely to cover
- Receipts issued with the registration details insurers ask for
- Blue Cross, ComPsych, First Nations Health Authority, Green Shield Canada, Manulife, Sun Life, Most other insurance providers among plans clients commonly use
